ABOUT ME

I am seeking a new career adventure, one where I can find a challenge, I have been in graphic design for 25 years, where technologies and methods evolve and I happily grow with them. I’m seeking another company who understands work-home balance, with team mates who have empathy for others, a sense of pride in the work they do, and lastly, I’m seeking people with a great sense of humor and fun.

 

I have extensive experience with concept and design, however I also excel at color correction, page layout, typography, illustration, print production and mechanical set up for all printed collateral and large format printing. To sum it up, I make things pretty, and I make them so they print well and accurately. 

 

Beyond design, I have years of experience organizing daily operations including, production coordination, customer service, purchasing and inventory control, estimating and book keeping, project engineering, and prepress production. I’ve spent the last year writing a small blog for my employer, specifically about file set up and large format printing. 

 

On a technical note, I have been working with Photoshop and Illustrator since the early 90s, and Bridge and Indesign since they were released, I can also create forms and use tools in Acrobat for prepress and file manipulation. I’m well versed with MS Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word. I have some experience building websites using existing CMS systems, including Word Press. I’ve worked in many other programs that have become obsolete to my personal career, such as, Adobe Flash, Corel Draw, Quark Xpress, AutoCAD and Power Point, so I can pick up programs and tools quickly and I am eager to learn new technologies or skill sets.
